Kathmandu, April 6 -- 'Sandhikaal: Samajik Pariwartanka Aadharbhumi', which narrates the story of the advent of democracy in Nepal, has been launched. Written by historical sociologist Lokranjan Parajuli, the book was released on Saturday at Nepalaya's R-Sala.

Author Parajuli launched the book by presenting copies to historian Mahesh Raj Pant, Gen Z activist Rakshya Bam, and sociology student Yadav Aryal.

During the launch, Parajuli said that the change of the early 1950s was the biggest turning point after the formation of modern Nepal.
