Jammu, April 6 -- In a strong assertion of historical recognition and cultural sentiment, the Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) today installed a hoarding board at the Akhnoor Bridge, reinstating its historical name as "Yuvraj Karan Singh Bridge." The Sabha maintained that the bridge was originally constructed and named in honor of Yuvraj Karan Singh in the year 1931, but over the decades-particularly after independence-its original name gradually faded due to neglect by successive governments.
