Jammu, Aug. 13 -- A year after the devastating cloudburst and flash floods at Chasoti in the foothills of Machail Mata shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, Sashastra Seema Bal Head Constable Hussan Dass is left with an irreparable loss of his close relatives -- his wife, two children, mother, sister, two nephews and sister-in-law.
For 38-year-old Dass, the tragedy is not merely a statistic but a daily struggle to rebuild a life shattered within hours, leaving his home in Benagarh village of RS Pura sector in Jammu deserted and mostly locked, a haunting reminder of the family he lost.
