SAMBA, March 24 -- Samba district marked World Tuberculosis Day with a district-level event organized at the Conference Hall of the District Administrative Complex Samba.
The programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan and hosted by Chief Medical Officer Samba Dr. Vidhi Bhatial.
The CMO Samba formally welcomed the participants and provided an insightful overview of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) along with the way forward to ensure effective screening of vulnerable populations under TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan - Phase II.
