Jammu, Oct. 22 -- he Department of Statistics, G.G.M. Science College, Jammu, organized the Valedictory Function of the World Statistics Day Celebrations on 20th October 2025 in the conference hall of the college. The week-long celebration was held under the global theme "Driving Change with Quality Statistics and Data for Everyone."
The function was graced by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kr Gupta, as the Chief Guest. Dr.Gupta, a distinguished statistician himself, has played a pivotal role in establishing the Department of Statistics at G.G.M. Science College in 2025.
