New Delhi, Sept. 20 -- The inaugural match of the PDD Premier League was played today with great enthusiasm, marking the beginning of an exciting cricketing tournament for the employees and engineers of the Power Development Department. The opening ceremony was conducted in the presence of Er. Arshad Hussain Reshi, Chief Engineer, JPDCL, along with the captains and players of the participating teams. The opening encounter featured Voltage Storms XI, led by Er. Sachin Tickoo, and Thunder Strikers XI, led by Ashok Dubey. After winning the toss, Thunder Strikers XI elected to bat first and scored 88 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
