JAMMU, Aug. 12 -- Vikalp, a student-led initiative at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) Katra, in collaboration with NSS-SMVDU, organised an extensive outreach programme last Saturday to promote awareness about the reopening of Vikalp after the summer break. The initiative aimed to inform the local community about the educational opportunities offered to underprivileged children. A total of 13 volunteers - twelve from Vikalp and one from NSS - began the campaign at 9:30 a.m., assembling at the Medical Aid Centre before splitting into six groups to cover the University's surrounding areas.
