JAMMU, Oct. 14 -- The Principal Sessions Judge Udhampur, Virender Singh Bhou, on Tuesday sentenced two men, Kaka Ram of Sadota and Khem Raj of Basnote, to rigorous imprisonment for life in connection with the sensational 2015 double murder case that had rocked Panchari tehsil.

The convicts were found guilty of murdering Siraj Din and his son Binya in June 2015 following a bitter land dispute. According to the prosecution, the victims were attacked inside their house with axes after the accused trespassed with the common intention of eliminating them to settle scores over money and land ownership.
