NAHAN (HP), Aug. 24 -- Two among five children who had gone to bathe in a rivulet in Sirmaur district drowned while three children were rescued by the Puruwala police with the help of local residents, police said on Monday.
Five children from the nearby Nihalgarh area had gone to bathe in Jambukhala in Paonta subdivision on Sunday evening. One kid suddenly went into deep water while bathing and started drowning. While trying to save him, the other child also drowned.
