POONCH, Feb. 26 -- The Deputy Commissioner, Poonch vide his order issued under endorsement No. DMP/J/13043-52 dated 26/02/2026 has ordered the opening of Mughal Road from Bufliaz to Peer KI Gali for Light Motor Vehicles w.e.f. 27/02/2026 between 1100 hours to 1500 hours. In order to ensure safety of the commuters, public at large is appealed to follow below given advisory/safety tips for safe journey and to avert road accidents:-
o Only LMVs shall be allowed to travel through the Mughal Road w.e.f. 27/02/2026 onwards.
o No vehicle shall be allowed to travel in violation of the prescribed time slot i.e. before 1100 hours and after 1500 hours.
o Snow accumulation may cause slippery road conditions and reduced visibility.
