MALIGAON, Jan. 1 -- Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has achieved a significant milestone in its electrification programme with the successful completion of major electrification works in the Tinsukia Division (TSK). On 30th December 2025, the Principal Chief Electrical Engineer (PCEE) Shri Yogesh Partaity inspected the successfully completed electrical works over the Tinsukia-Dangari and Makum-Ledo sections on the TSK division. With this achievement, NFR has completed electrification of 4170.19 Route Kilometres (RKM) out of a total 4324.15 RKM, achieving 96.43% electrification across the zone as on 31st December 2025.
