Reasi, Oct. 19 -- Exhibiting prompt action and effective investigation, Reasi Police have solved a theft case reported from a temple premises in the main bazaar area of Katra within a short span of time, leading to the arrest of the accused and recovery of stolen gold ornaments.
On 15/10/2025, a complaint was received at Police Station Katra regarding the theft of gold ornaments from the idol inside a temple located in the main bazaar. Acting swiftly, FIR No. 281/2025 under sections 331(4)/305(d) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered and investigation was taken up.
