JAMMU, Aug. 21 -- Security forces captured a pigeon from Pakistan carrying a threatening note warning of an IED blast at Jammu railway station, prompting authorities to sound a high alert and deploy additional security measures across the sensitive border region.
The incident occurred on August 18 at around 9 pm when the pigeon was caught in the Katmaria area along the International Border in RS Pura, Jammu district. A handwritten note in Urdu and English was found tied to the bird's claws, containing the message "IED Jammu Railway Station Blast" along with provocative slogans including "Kashmir Freedom," "Kashmir Hamara Hai," and "Waqt Aa Gaya Hai" (Time has come).
