POONCH, May 2 -- Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan ensured a prompt and coordinated medical response following a tragic road accident near Lassana.
As per the Health Department, immediately after receiving news of the accident, ambulance services were rushed to the spot and the injured were shifted to Government Sub-District Hospital Surankote for emergency care.
Two persons, identified as Shafiq Ahmed S/O Mohammad Rafiq and Sheraz Ahmed S/O Mohammad Bashir, both residents of Gunthal, Surankote, were brought to the hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, Shafiq Ahmed was declared dead by doctors on arrival.
