Akhnoor, Feb. 11 -- Senior BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) Member Pandit Suresh Sharma convened a comprehensive review meeting with senior officials of the Jal Shakti Department to assess the progress of ongoing water supply projects in Block Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura.
The meeting focused on works being executed under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), NRDWP, and UT Capex schemes. During the review, Sharma was informed that nearly 80 percent of the new water supply projects have been completed. He directed the concerned officers to expedite the remaining works and ensure their completion within a fixed timeframe so that the public receives uninterrupted and adequate drinking water supply.
