JAMMU, May 12 -- Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu chaired a high-level review meeting today with the District Special Branch (DSB) to evaluate the prevailing security scenario and the efficacy of intelligence-gathering mechanisms within the district. The meeting was attended by the SP (Headquarters), along with all members and field operatives of the DSB.
During the session, the SSP underscored the irreplaceable value of Human Intelligence (HUMINT). He emphasized that while technology is a tool, the most effective policing comes from being "on the ground" and maintaining a robust network of local sources.
