JAMMU, March 31 -- The Jammu Division of Northern Railway has generated revenue of approximately Rs 62 lakh during March-the final month of the financial year 2025-26-through its most extensive campaign to date against ticketless travel and irregularities. This achievement not only signifies an increase in revenue but also marks a significant step towards ensuring discipline and transparency within railway services.
The total revenue generated from ticket checking operations during the month of March stood at approximately ?62 lakh. During this period, around 11,000 individuals were apprehended for traveling without tickets or engaging in irregular travel.
