JAMMU, April 17 -- In a move to honour the legacy of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and promote social equality through healthcare accessibility, MLA Jammu North Assembly Constituency, Sham Lal Sharma, inaugurated a day-long Free Medical Check-up Camp today organized by the IGNOU Regional Centre at its Regional Campus, Bantalab, Jammu.
The event, held on the 135th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, was organized in collaboration with Regional Ayurvedic Research Institute. The camp aimed to provide basic health services to the students and local community, particularly for residents from rural and underserved areas.
