SRINAGAR, Oct. 16 -- Secretary, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department (PD&MD), Dr. Owais Ahmed held an introductory meeting with the officers and officials of the Department to review its functioning, the progress of key developmental initiatives and the priorities for effective implementation of various programmes.
During the meeting, the status of the Prime Minister's Development Package (PMDP) was reviewed. The package comprises 53 projects sanctioned at a total cost of ?70,244.55 crore, with an aggregate physical progress of 89%. The progress of the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) was also discussed, with 123 out of 124 identified issues reported as resolved.
