GURDASPUR, Oct. 9 -- The Sports Section and Sportsmen Unified (SU) Club of Sardar Beant Singh State University (SBSSU), Gurdaspur, organized a Basketball Open Tournament on 8th October 2025 at the University Basketball Court.
The tournament was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr. S. K. Misra, along with Registrar Dr. Ajay Kumar. Addressing the participants, the Vice-Chancellor inspired the players to exhibit sportsmanship, discipline, and enthusiasm, emphasizing that sports are instrumental in shaping leadership qualities, teamwork, and physical well-being among students.
