Jammu, Feb. 8 -- 'Satguru Sahib Ji of Sahib Bandgi, while giving the nectar of spiritual discourse to the congregation in Rakhbandhu, Jammu, said that without a Guru, a person's heart cannot be purified. How does the Guru purify the heart?
What is this heart? Sometimes we say, "Speak from the heart." Sometimes we say, "Don't take it to heart." Why is there darkness there? There is profound darkness in the heart of the living being. Ignorance is born from darkness. In darkness, you don't perceive objects. You can't see anything. When there is light, you perceive objects. You may have seen that in complete darkness, you can't even walk four steps. The living being has darkness in its heart. The Guru removes this darkness.
