SAMBA, July 9 -- Taking stringent action against notorious drug peddlers/ smugglers involved in illicit narcotics trade, Samba Police has booked a notorious drug peddler under the provisions of "Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances" (PITNDPS) Act for his continuous involvement in spreading drug menace in the area and lodged him in District Jail Jammu.
The notorious drug peddler detained under PITNDPS Act has been identified as Farman Ali @DC S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Rakh Barotian tehsil Vijaypur district Samba. The said drug peddler has been involved in multiple cases registered under NDPS Act at Police Station Vijaypur and Samba for his continuous illegal activities of drug peddling.
