SAMBA, Aug. 26 -- In a significant breakthrough, Samba Police has solved an attempt-to-murder case within hours of the incident, arresting the accused involved in a murderous attack on a man at Supwal under the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba.
Today on 26.08.2026, one lady namely Asha Rani W/o Rampal Kapoor R/o Supwal tehsil Vijaypur district Samba lodged a written complaint at Police Post Supwal stating that her son namely Anil Kumar was allegedly attacked by one Manik Sharma S/o Bhushan Sharma R/O Upper Supwal tehsil Vijaypur District Samba with a sharp-edged weapon (Darat) on his head and arm causing serious injuries. After the commission of the offence, the accused fled from the spot.
