SAMBA, July 21 -- Continuing its relentless drive against drug trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, Samba Police has achieved a major breakthrough by busting an interstate drug smuggling gang and arresting two Punjab-based drug smugglers including a woman and recovered 116 grams of heroin-like substance as backward linkage in a NDPS case registered at Police Station Samba.
The operation was carried out as part of the investigation into FIR No. 211/2026 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Samba on 18.07.2026 in which Police had recovered 25.59 grams of heroin-like substance and arrested the accused Satnam Singh S/o Puran Singh, R/o Amritsar, Punjab.
