SAMBA, Feb. 28 -- Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered approximately 10.05 grams heroin-like substance (Chitta) from his possession.
A Police team of Police Station Vijaypur during patrolling on link road leading towards Shiv Nagar near canal road, intercepted a pedestrian under suspicious circumstances who was coming from Shiv Nagar side and moving towards Vijaypur Market. During frisking, approximately 10.05 grams of heroin-like substance (Chitta) was recovered from the possession of said person.
