Udhampur, Aug. 8 -- The displaced families of Sadal village have been waiting for permanent rehabilitation for the past 13 years, but their long-pending demand for land and shelter remains unresolved.
The affected families recently approached District Congress Committee (DCC) President Sumeet Magotra and apprised him of the hardships they have been facing.
They informed him that a list of 38 persons had originally been prepared for allotment of land, but later 11 names were reportedly deleted from the list.
Taking up the issue, Magotra accompanied the affected families to the Tehsildar's office and met the concerned Tehsildar, urging the administration to restore the 11 deleted names after proper verification.
