REASI, July 6 -- In continuation of its sustained campaign against drug abuse and narcotics trafficking under the 'Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan', District Police Reasi achieved another success by apprehending a drug peddler and recovering narcotic substance from his possession.
On 04.07.2026, a police party of Police Station Katra, while performing routine patrolling and naka checking duty near Tulip Tree Hotel, New Bus Stand, Katra, intercepted a blue-coloured electric auto-rickshaw bearing Registration No. JK20D-2070. On noticing the police party, the driver attempted to flee from the spoth but was swiftly apprehended by the alert police personnel.
