Reasi, Sept. 28 -- District Police Reasi achieved a major breakthrough by solving a criminal case within 24 hours of its occurrence in the jurisdiction of Police Station Katra.
On 24/09/2025, information was received from CHC Katra regarding the admission of an injured person. Acting swiftly, an Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Katra reached the hospital and recorded the victim's statement. On the basis of this statement, FIR No. 265/2025 under Sections 109/126(2)/3(5) BNS and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Katra.
Following this, a special police team was constituted at Police Station Katra under the supervision of SHO and SDPO Katra.
