REASI, Oct. 26 -- Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking, Reasi Police recovered 8.7 grams of heroin (chitta) from two persons, including a male and a female, during naka checking at Balni, Katra.
On October 24, 2026, at about 2020 hours, a police party of Police Station Katra, while conducting naka checking at Balni, intercepted one male and one female person approaching the naka point on foot. During checking and frisking, 4.5 grams of heroin was recovered from Sunil Kumar S/o Yash Paul R/o Sughar, PO Khail, District Udhampur, while 4.2 grams was recovered from Rekha Devi W/o Subash Chander R/o Kundrian, near Shiv Ram Hotel, Katra, District Reasi.
