Reasi, July 31 -- Under its ongoing crusade "Operation: Ek Yudh Nashe Ke Virudh," Reasi Police has dealt yet another strong blow to the drug menace by booking and detaining a notorious drug peddler under the Public Safety Act (PIT-NDPS). The accused has been lodged in Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.
The accused, Raj Singh S/o Late Thakur Singh R/o Panthal Road, Pujari Road, Pujari Mohalla Arli Hansali, Tehsil Katra, District Reasi, was actively involved in drug trafficking and had multiple cases registered against him, including FIR No. 101/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act and FIR No. 103/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act, along with DDR No. 19 dated 04.07.2025 at Police Station Katra.
