Reasi, Nov. 3 -- In a significant breakthrough, Reasi Police has arrested an absconding accused, Baldev Singh S/O Sarwan R/O Sawalakote, Tehsil Arnas, who was wanted in FIR No. 41/2019 under sections 419/420/380/201 RPC registered at Police Station Reasi.
The accused had been evading arrest for a considerable period and was not appearing before the Hon'ble Court, following which a warrant under Section 512 Cr.PC was issued against him in 2023. Acting on specific and credible input, a dedicated police team successfully traced the accused and apprehended him, ensuring his timely production before the Hon'ble Court of law.
