REASI, June 27 -- Demonstrating prompt action and effective inter-state coordination, Reasi Police successfully apprehended a couple wanted in a murder case registered in Uttarakhand and handed them over to the concerned police for further legal proceedings.
Police Station Katra received information from Police Station Dhanya, District Almora, Uttarakhand, that one person, Dharambir, son of Vijender, resident of Sheikhpur, Hisar, Haryana, along with his wife Jhanki Devi, had allegedly committed a murder at their native place on 20.06.2026 and subsequently fled from Uttarakhand. It was further learnt that both the accused were presently staying in Katra.
