RAMBAN, April 20 -- In pursuance of drug free Ramban district under the aegis of 100 days Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, Ramban Police, acting on credible and reliable information, carried out a search operation at Bathi, Maitra area of Ramban, leading to the recovery of narcotic substance and apprehension of one drug peddler.
A search party comprising officials from Police Station Ramban, along with an Executive Magistrate and lady police personnel, conducted a lawful search at the residential premises of one Anchal Singh S/o Charan Singh R/o Bathi, Maitra, Ramban.
During the search, approximately 100-110 grams of charas like substance packed in two transparent polypacks was recovered from inside the house, where it had been concealed beneath cloth...
