RAMBAN, Aug. 16 -- Continuing crackdown against the organised crime of bovine smuggling and the illegal accumulation of wealth through criminal activities, District Police Ramban has attached movable property worth approximately Rs 18 lakh under the provisions of Section 107 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. The action was taken during the investigation of FIR No. 86/2026 registered at Police Station Ramban under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
