RAMBAN, Aug. 20 -- District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ramban, in collaboration with the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD), today organized an awareness programme on the safety and comfort of women commuters in public transport at Community Hall, Ramban.
The programme, held under the supervision of ARTO Varun Bhasin, focused on sensitising public transport drivers, conductors, helpers and the general public about the safety and rights of women commuters, particularly regarding earmarked seats for women in public transport and adherence to relevant safety measures and provisions.
