Rajouri, Aug. 24 -- Rajouri Police continues its crackdown on illegal transportation of bovine animals. In two separate incidents reported Chingus police teams rescued 16 bovine animals and registered two FIRs under relevant sections of law.
During naka checking in the Keri area by Police Post Chingus led by IC PP Chingus two vehicles were intercepted:
Vehicle No. JK11D-8193 (Tata Mobile) was found transporting 07 bovine animals via Sasalkote Road without valid permission,the driver managed to flee from the spot. In another case Vehicle No. JK 12A -6953(Tata Mobile) was intercepted on Sawni Road and was found carrying 09 bovine animals also without valid permission,the driver managed to flee from the spot.
