JAMMU, June 30 -- To ensure the safety and security of pilgrims during the upcoming Shri AmarnathJi Yatra - 2026, Railway Police Jammu has strengthened security arrangements at Railway Station Kathua, Jammu, and other areas under its jurisdiction.
During a preventive checking drive conducted today by GRP Jammu at Railway Station Kathua, 04 suspected persons were found roaming under suspicious circumstances. They were detained for verification, and two preventive complaints under Sections 39/128 of the BNSS were registered against them. All four accused persons were produced before the Executive Magistrate 1st Class (EMIC), Kathua for further legal action.
