Jammu, Nov. 8 -- To mark National Cancer Awareness Day 2025, the State Cancer Institute, Jammu organized an inter-college Poster-Making Competition on Saturday on the occasion of National Cancer Awareness Day, drawing enthusiastic participation from students of various nursing colleges across Jammu region.
The event aimed to spread awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of healthy lifestyle choices. Nursing students showcased their creativity through posters highlighting key messages on tobacco cessation, breast and cervical cancer screening, balanced nutrition, and the role of nurses in cancer care and patient education.
