Jammu, July 21 -- The Indian Air Force (IAF) has formally reserved a section of airspace near the southern region of the Pakistan border for a high-intensity military exercise scheduled from July 23 to 25. The move is part of India's continued efforts to bolster its defense readiness and sharpen the operational capabilities of its air forces in strategically vital areas.
The designated airspace, located close to the international border, will serve as the venue for an integrated IAF drill focused on surveillance, rapid response, and advanced operational training. While the exercise is officially described as routine, its location near a sensitive frontier reflects the IAF's intent to maintain heightened vigilance and preparedness.
