JAMMU, June 11 -- In a significant breakthrough against property crimes, Police Station Bakshi Nagar has successfully solved a theft case involving the theft of DVRs and allied equipment from BSNL telecom towers in the Shakti Nagar area and recovered stolen property worth approximately Rs 4.5 lakh.
The case came to light after representatives and officials of BSNL approached Police Station Bakshi Nagar with a complaint regarding the theft of DVRs from telecom tower installations located in the Shakti Nagar area. Taking immediate cognizance of the matter, FIR No. 69/2026 under Section 303(2) BNS was registered and investigation was launched without delay.
