JAMMU, July 27 -- In its continued drive against drug trafficking, Police Station Bahu Fort achieved another success by apprehending three drug peddlers in two separate naka checking operations conducted at Doongian, Bathindi, within its jurisdiction.
During naka checking on the intervening night of 17/18 July 2026, a black Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Registration No. JK14L-2215 was intercepted. During the search, Rakesh Sharma, S/o Paras Ram, R/o Village Jogwan, Pallanwala, Khour, Jammu, and Sanjay Sharma, S/o Bishan Dass, R/o Village Ghordi, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur, were found in possession of 11.12 grams of heroin-like substance.
