SAMBA, Feb. 16 -- Samba Police has successfully solved a theft case of gold ornaments registered at Police Station Ghagwal. One accused has been arrested and approximately 10 grams of stolen gold items worth Rs. 1,60,000.00 approx. have been recovered from his possession.
On the intervening night of 27/28.01.2026, a complaint was received via WhatsApp on the official mobile number of Police Station Ghagwal from Advocate Dharamvir S/o Tulsi Das R/o Harsath tehsil Ghagwal district Samba, regarding the theft of gold ornaments from a Kali Mata temple situated inside his residence. The stolen items included a gold tikka, gold nath, gold chain and gold locket.
