UDHAMPUR, Feb. 20 -- Udhampur Police has attached an immovable property worth Rs 1 crore belonging to notorious drug peddler Amjad Hussain S/O Manzoor Ahmed R/O Housing Colony, Udhampur under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.
Earlier, the accused was detained under the PITNDPS Act and lodged in District Jail Kishtwar after a warrant of detention was issued by the competent authority vide Order No. PITNDPS 06 of 2026 dated 17-02-2026.
During the course of financial investigation, it came to fore that there were sufficient grounds to believe that the property acquired by the accused was derived from proceeds of illicit narcotics trade.
