Jammu, Oct. 18 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police have registered a case against the wife of an Army officer on charges of collecting sensitive information and sharing it with foreign intelligence agents. Some of these agents are said to be linked to China.
The case was registered at Gandhi Nagar police station under the relevant sections of the Official Secrets Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The woman, who is from Telangana, currently lives in Jammu with her husband.
Sources said she was involved in some research-related activities, which police are now examining. Investigators are also trying to understand the nature of these activities and whether any information or material was handed over to foreign intelligence operatives. The allega...
