UDHAMPUR, June 2 -- Senior BJP leader and MLA Udhampur East, R.S. Pathania, reiterated his commitment to transforming Udhampur East into a model constituency through focused interventions in infrastructure, drinking water supply, power sector reforms and tourism promotion.
Addressing public gatherings at Dhamma, Thani, Bharnara and later at the BJP Office, Battal Ballian, Pathania emphasized that development must reach every village and every household. As part of this commitment, he inaugurated the blacktopping of the Dhamma-Thani Road, executed at a cost of nearly Rs 6 crore, besides inaugurating a waiting shed at Sri Kali Mata Mandir, Thill-Roun, built at cost of 5 lacs providing improved facilities to devotees and local residents.
