JAMMU, Oct. 25 -- Panun Kashmir and the Jammu State People's Movement (JSPM) have lodged a complaint at Channi Police Station, Jammu, seeking registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against Dr Farooq Abdullah, president of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and former Chief Minister, over his reported remarks at a party convention in Baramulla on October 24, 2026.
The complaint was submitted by Tito Ganju, Chairman of Panun Kashmir, and Col Ajay Raina, Chairman of Jammu State People's Movement. It seeks a police investigation into statements attributed to Dr Abdullah concerning Pakistan's role in the Kashmir issue, the constitutional status of Jammu and Kashmir, the Union government and alleged religious polarisation.
