Jammu, May 30 -- In a powerful display of patriotism and commitment to national service, nearly 500 youth from the Kashmir Valley on Friday joined the Indian Army as Agniveers after successfully completing their military training at the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) Regimental Centre in Srinagar.
The young recruits were among 540 Agniveers of the Seventh Batch who passed out during an impressive Attestation and Passing Out Parade held at the Regimental Centre, marking their formal induction into the Indian Army.
