KATHUA, July 4 -- Under the directions of the Director, Command Area Development, Jammu Sh. Pankaj Magotra (JKAS) a one-day farmers' training programme was organized under the Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) at village Chak Drab Khan, Block Nagri, District Kathua, today.
The programme was conducted in view of the ongoing Khet Bachao Abhiyan, with the objective of sensitizing farmers about the judicious use of chemical fertilizers and effective water management practices in agriculture.
The training was attended by a large number of farmers from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) communities, along with women farmers, who participated enthusiastically and engaged actively in the discussions.
