JAMMU, Oct. 16 -- The NSS unit of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, organized a 'Vocal for Local' event to promote local craftsmanship. The highlight of the event was handmade diyas crafted by Mohinder, a talented Class 8 student from Government High School, Sirah (Kakryal). Mohinder, known for his skill in creating decorative items, showcased a range of beautifully handcrafted diyas at a special stall set up within the university campus. The NSS volunteers actively supported the initiative by facilitating the stall and spreading awareness among the university community.
