Lucknow, June 15 -- Farmers who dedicated their land for the construction of the Noida International Airport in Jewar arrived in Lucknow on Monday. These farmers, who travelled to the state capital on the first flight operated from Jewar to Lucknow, were accorded a grand welcome and honoured at the Chief Minister's residence. The farmers shared their experiences, presented mementos to the Chief Minister, and expressed their gratitude.

Interacting with the farmers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "Jewar has now become a place where even 'Kuber' wants to come. He also thanked IndiGo for commencing commercial flight operations from the airport."
